What we process

When you send an expedition, the prompt and the information needed to answer it are sent to OpenAI so it can generate field notes. Thinklings does not use prompts to create a public profile, and prompts are not intentionally saved to your Thinklings account after the response.

OpenAI may process or retain requests under its own Terms of Use and privacy policy. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in a prompt.

Account and purchases

If you sign in, the app receives the identity details provided by Commonsmade, our sign-in service, and uses them to maintain your session, pet progress, and expedition-credit balance. Purchases are handled by Commonsmade, our payment service; Thinklings receives payment status and order information needed to add credits to your account.

Pet names and the leaderboard

Your Thinkling name, level, expedition count, and growth quality may appear on the public leaderboard when your pet is synced to your account. Treat the name as public. Please do not use your real name, contact details, or other identifying information.

Local pet progress can be kept in your browser. Signed-in progress is also stored with your account so it can be restored on another visit.

Cookies and storage

Thinklings uses a secure session cookie for sign-in and browser storage for the local pet experience. These are functional, not advertising, tools.
